Canine Carpal Brace
Our Carpal Braces (Wrist) aid in the support of the front legs and are used for post-operative recovery, rehabilitative treatment, and injury prevention for at-risk animals.
*For cats please contact us to discuss candidacy*
A canine carpal brace (wrist) can be used to:
- Aid in post-operative procedures of the carpus.
- Support in the prevention/recovery of hyperextension
- Aid in angle deformities such as Vargus (outward) and Valgus (inwards).
We recommend carpal braces for full-limb amputees that are not a candidate or would prefer not to use a full-limb prosthetic.
Our process is as follows:
1) You place an order directly from our website or by completing the attached form.
2) We send casting materials for you to take a mold of your pup's leg(s). The tutorial is linked below for reference.
3) You'll mail the cast back to us for Derick to build the brace. Timelines vary and are subject to change. Please reach out to us for an estimate.
4) We'll mail the final product to you.
5) Follow up with any questions or concerns about the fit. From there we'll assess pictures and videos to see if any adjustments need to be made. If so, we'll send a return label to you.
*Casting Kit Included!
Disclaimer: The customer understands that full refunds cannot be given if casting kits are sent and the device ordered is incorrect for the animal's needs or if the animal doesn't accept the device.
